Biography
Isabelle Malo is a designer artist born in Mont-St-Hilaire, Quebec, Canada in 1959, from a family of artists.
In 1984, she graduated in Industrial Design and Architecture from the University of Montréal. At that time, she became interested in airbrush and multimedia and produced paintings and projects for both public and private sector, including Cirque du Soleil. In 2001, she received her Master of Science in IT and created a 3D virtual reality environment and from 2001 to 2010, she teaches multimedia and animated cinema.
In 2012, she enrolled in the Art History program at UQAM and began working on large canvases, using rubber spatulas and linseed oil. After numerous exhibitions and awards, she is now a member of SODRAC and a professional artist in Fine Art at the Canada Council for the Arts.
